index / technology / linux / debian Thu, 29 May 2008After reading Lessons from the Debian/OpenSSL Fiasco , reading some of the HORRIFIC OpenSSL code and also reading the BSD license-- which isn't really "kopyleft: all rites reversed" enough for my tastes-- I've decided to give Debian another chance. I'm still a little nervous about the possibilities of upstream package management being able to change developer code at the last minute but I think the benefits of APT might outweight the risks. I do think I will explore csh some more after playing in BSD-land for a while, though. email: Josh Fuller | tag: /technology/linux/debian | permanent link | Share on Facebook |
